Biography
Ruba Khnouf is an associate professor in biomedical engineering at Jordan University of Science and Technology, she was a visiting assistant professor and Fulbright Fellow at the department of Mechanical Engineering at the Stanford University during the academic year 2016-2017. She has earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor where she was awarded the Alfred Taubman Scholarship, and her Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Florida where she was awarded the Alumni Fellowship. Her research interests revolve around the development of microfluidic and BioMEMS devices for point of care diagnostics and pathogen detection, and using micro and nano devices for the comprehension and analysis of cellular and molecular processes.
