Biography
Nizar Zorba (Jordan, 1980) holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering by JUST University (2002, Jordan), a MPhil in Mobile Communications by University of Zaragoza (2002-2004, Spain), a MPhil in Economics by University of Zaragoza (2003-2005, Spain), a MPhil in Signal Processing by Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya-UPC (2004-2006, Spain), and a PhD in Signal Processing for Communications by UPC (December 2007, Spain).
He works as a research associate in CTTC, and since arriving at CTTC he participated in several R&D projects: MARQUIS and PlaNetS for European MEDEA+, Newcom Network of Excellence and MIMOSAT for the European Space Agency (ESA). He is now working within the FP7-PHYDYAS and MEDEA+ ICARUS projects.
