Genaro Hernández-Valdez (M’98) was born in Mexico City, Mexico, in November 1968. He received the B.Sc. degree in electronics and communications engineering and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), Mexico City, in 1996 and 1997,
respectively.
Since September 1996, he has been with the Department of Electronics Engineering, Metropolitan Autonomous University–Azcapotzalco (UAM-A), Mexico City, as a Research Lecturer. His research interest includes, but is not limited to, performance evaluation, teletraffic analysis,
and resource management of wireless mobile communications networks.
