Andrea Domenici obtained his PhD in Information Engineering in 1992 with
a thesis on the G\"odel logic programming language. He teaches Software
Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of
Pisa, and does research in the fields of Grid architectures and reliability.
He took part in the European Datagrid Project and the EGEE project, in cooperation
with the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN).
