Dr. Rahmati is an assistant professor in the EECS Department at Cleveland State University, USA. He received his Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Rutgers University-NJ, Iran University of Science and Technology-Iran, and Ferdowsi University of Mashhad-Iran, respectively. He has published numerous peer-reviewed conference and journal papers and has received many prestigious awards including the best demo award at 2019 IEEE International Conference on Sensing, Communication and Networking (SECON), the first prize in 2019 IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) student competition, the best paper award at 2017 IEEE International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Systems (MASS), and the best paper runner-up award at 2015 ACM International Conference on Underwater Networks and Systems (WUWNet).
