He received BSc degree from Erciyes University, MSc degree from Çukurova University and PhD degree from Hacettepe University, all in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in 1992,1996, and 2002, respectively. He has been to Polytechnic University (ECE) between 1999-2000 as a part of PhD study (visiting scholar supported by TÜB?TAK), and then continued as a research assistant in a project sponsored by Symbol Technologies (Motorola). At Poly, he conducted experiments on radio propagation, studied channel modeling for short range indoor radio links and urban enviroments for modern cellular communication systems (WLAN,Bluetooth,GSM,CDMA). He was joined Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at At?l?m University in 2000, and devoted himself to founding the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has published more than 30 papers in journals and conferences, and coordinated 3 national/international projects in the areas of radio propagation, remote laboratories and electronic defense systems. In one of the projects, he led a group at Atilim University to develop a remote laboratory platform on RF and Communications, with a support from European Commission (ERRL). On the other hand, he has been consultant for National Research Institute of Electronics and Crytology (UEKAE) since 2006. He is a member of IEEE, and a member of Chamber of Electrical Engineers(EMO) in Turkey. He has also been the counselor of IEEE Student Branch at At?l?m University.
