Title Twin stack equalization for frequency selective fading channels
Authors Dr. Tansal Gucluoglu, Kadir Has University, Istanbul, Turkey
Abstract A low complexity iterative equalizer is proposed for bit interleaved coded transmission over frequency-selective fading channels. The new receiver is based on twin stack algorithm which is a modified version of soft input soft output stack decoder. Simulation results show that the new iterative receiver can be desirable in practical systems with large modulation order and long ISI spans where the optimal equalizer would have prohibitively high complexity.
