In this paper, we consider joint antenna/relay selection of a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) relaying system based on maximum ratio combining (MRC). For the selection criteria, maximization of the signal to noise ratio (SNR) at the receiver is used. Moreover, the effects of channel estimation errors on the performance of this model are presented. Simulations results show that this model achieves high diversity order with low complexity.
