Francisco Vegara was born in Alicante, Spain. He received an M.S. degree from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, in 1992, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Valencia in 1999, both in computer science. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain. His current research interests include sensor design for applications on mobile robotics and digital control.
