The majority of the methods used for the radioelectric characterization of the microstrip antennas require long period of computing time in general. The goal of this work is to use a simple and precise equivalent electric model, allowing taking into account the whole geometrical, electric and technological characteristics of the antennas array. To validate this last, the obtained simulation results are compared with those obtained by using the commercial software which is based on the moment’s method (MoM). Using this transmission line approach the resonant frequency, input impedance, return loss can be determined simultaneously. The obtained results are then presented and discussed.
