Facial Aging (FA) is a very fundamental issue as aging, in general, is part of our daily life process. In this paper, a method for predicting the position, length and number of wrinkles on the forehead area is adopted. The method involves the projection of 2D images, of individuals at different age spans, into a 3D environment then mapping curves on the wrinkles for the forehead areas, this will help in estimating the position of the wrinkles in 3D space. The length was estimated by using the resulting curves with some mathematical equations. Finally the number of wrinkles was estimated by observing the number of wrinkles that appear every decade for each individual and working out the average. The information that was gained from the three methods, was then used to predict the wrinkles’ behaviour for the missing images. Reasonable results are presented in this paper that will then be used as parameters for this ongoing project in the field of 3D Facial Aging.
