Abstract |
Performance degradation and capacity improvement have been studied in combined effect of multirate & Channel estimated Noise Variance for WCDMA System. Due to wide bandwidth of WCDMA system, three transmission schemes are possible on AWGN channel. On the other hand channel estimated noise variance plays an important and necessary function for modern wireless receivers to eliminate the interference. A receiver can gain insight into the information that is send by the transmitter even with a limited knowledge of the wireless channel properties. Due to combined effect of multirate & channel estimated noise variance, the operating condition of signal to noise ratio is found to be lower for achieving the target value of BER (10-3) and hence the system can support more number of user at the same condition. |
