Optimum and uninterrupted operation of industrial mechanisms can not be sought without a system that allows, in one side, to prevent at an early stage the abnormalities that could appear in the different parts of the equipment and, in the other side, to diagnosis rapidly the disorders. In the proposed system of a completed automation of the diagnosis process, reduction of the analysis-time and the intervention costs, the expert system is associated with an information acquisition system. The symptoms observation is accomplished by the information acquisition system. The reasoning representing the intelligent part of the diagnosis is accomplished by the expert system.
