Software Defined Network is differentiated from the traditional networks upon its flexible and developable structure. This structure gives the researchers the opportunity of performing computational tests in their environments with realistic results. In this study, we adapted the Bellman-Ford routing algorithm into the routing module of the Floodlight controller. Then we generated TCP traffic on our medium-sized network topology and obtained the traffic performance results in between the nodes even in different subnets. We compared the implementation results with the Floodlight default routing algorithm, namely Dijkstra’s algorithm.
