In this paper a module consisting of a LMS filter is implemented and verified on a digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320C7613 for controlling an embedded target application. Also a frequently encountered complicated real-life scenario, the echo phenomenon, which is a problem in voice communication channels, is treated.
The main scope of this paper is to implement a low cost acoustic echo cancellation module using Simulink programming and an autonomous DSP board.
The needed DSP code is generated in code composer environment by Real Time Workshop. At the experimental level, result of implementation phase verifies that implemented module behavior is similar to Simulink model.
