This paper presents a compact UWB four-element MIMO antenna assembly that consists of four symmetrical monopole antenna elements. The antenna assembly is characterized by its compact size which is due to the use of space and polarization diversity techniques, in addition to a half-cut antenna technique. These latter help to maintain a good isolation between antenna elements and provide a good diversity performance results, which make this antenna useful for ultra wide-band (UWB) applications.
